My name is Savine Schoorl, I am a textile designer and material researcher. I graduated Cum Laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2022, with my graduation project ‘Haar Haar’ and ‘Vibrating Strings’.

During my studies, I focused on working with textiles and crafts, like weaving, spinning, bobbin lace and material research. I am intrigued by the way we treat and see materials. From raw materials to the textile that we wear and from heritage to new technology.

In my practice, I work with poetry, music and tactility to share a message and to stimulate the sense of touch and wonder within my designs.
